Ignite A Brighter World (2023-24)
LMU’s flagship brand anthem, Ignite a Brighter World, set the tone for a university that leads with purpose, and served as a rallying cry for changemakers who turn curiosity into impact and community into movement.
Drawn from the iconic Ignatian ite, inflammation omnia, “Ignite a Brighter World” layers the soul of LMU’s Jesuit tradition with a practical outlook that reflects what prospects value most – real-world opportunities and impact.
Activations
A comprehensive internal brand launch kicked off the campaign, with a campus-wide banner installation, special events, and a video series, highlighting the LMU heroes who ignite a brighter world through their lives as students and faculty. External activations included a multi-channel digital and outdoor ad campaign reaching multiple audiences, and a highly visible partnership with the Los Angeles Rams.
Believe in Something Brighter (2024)
Building off the Ignite a Brighter World campaign, Believe in Something Brighter invited audiences to dream bigger and lead with conviction, speaking to LMU’s commitment to values-driven education and bold thinking.
Activations
A video series highlighted 6 students whose stories exemplify the qualities that make an LMU education exceptional. A comprehensive digital and outdoor ad campaign featured these ambassadors, with a focus on driving awareness and interest among prospective undergraduate and graduate students.
Make It Matter (2025)
The Make It Matter campaign challenges the LMU community to turn passion into progress. LMU offers something uniquely resonant: a purpose-driven education rooted in academic rigor that supports each individual to develop and create their identity and significance in the world. It’s about doing the work, making the change, and creating a brighter future for all.
